The last month with The Glorious Sons has been amazing. Sell out crowds in almost every market, playing songs from the new album and making a lot of new friends. We can't wait to get back out on the road, and the best part is, we won't have to wait very long!
Today we're so excited to announce that we'll be supporting the almighty Frank Turner on his Canadian tour his February. The first half of the tour will just be Matt and Frank solo, with the full bands joining up in Vancouver for the final dates. The complete list of dates is below.
Five or six years ago, a good friend of mine sent me the album Love, Ire and Song and a link to Frank performing “Substitute". A little while after that I opened for Frank at the Media Club in Vancouver and then again at Lee’s Palace in Toronto. Being a fan, I was nervous to meet Frank. His talent and thoughtfulness are apparent on his albums, and in his unique connection with his fans. We are honoured to be supporting Frank and the Sleeping Souls alongside the brilliant Mo Kenney, whom I saw for the first time earlier this year in Victoria. Please join us for this special tour! I can't wait.
To celebrate this tour announcement, we're also very excited to unveil the LP pre-order for "Hope Is Made Of Steel" in Canada. Lots of people have been asking, so here it is. Check out the STORE section of our site - you can order the LP on its own, with a hooded sweater, and/or with a 'mystery' 7". More details about that mystery release are coming at the top of the new year so stay tuned.
