A week from today we will be opening our Cross Canada tour in Edmonton. This is a video was shot at one of our rehearsals earlier this month and put together by Lindsey Blane. Eric Paone and I recorded this version of Hope Is Made Of Steel May 1st at Red Hot Recordings, a studio that Eric and Mike from Northcote run out of their house. We have a couple more rehearsals this week before we head out on the road. I am very grateful for the chance to be back out on the road. Ticket links HERE. See you at the shows! . -Matt
Covers Series #1
A couple of weeks back I had a sleepless night. Sometime after midnight I was walking around our new neighbourhood looking at the condo buildings, trees and houses. I played the Florence and the Machine record a few times… the first track is "Ship To Wreck", a hit song that I really love. A few days later I drove down to Mike’s place in Victoria and we recorded a few takes of the song we ended up doing a few other songs. "Ship To Wreck" is I guess, part one of a few of these that we will posting surrounding the upcoming Canadian Tour.
Ticket links for all upcoming Hope Is Made Of Steel Tour shows with Jordan Klassen and Josiah are in the TOUR section.
